Graphics in Word 2000

ClipArt

You can insert graphics into any document, whether you create them or insert them from the Office 2000 library of ClipArt images. To insert a ClipArt image, simply click your insertion point where you want the image to go and use the Insert|Picture|ClipArt menu.

ClipArt is divided into pictures, sounds and motion clips. Each section has categories of ClipArt images that you can click on and use. For example, we'll go to the Entertainment category and select the ClipArt shown below.

Notice the toolbar that pops up. It allows you to insert the image, preview it, add it to the Favorites folder, or search for ClipArt images like it.

Once it is inserted, you can resize the image by dragging one of the resize handles at any corner of the image. <Click here to see a video demo.> (175K)
