Word 2000 Introduction


 

Paragraph Alignment

When typing reports, a user may find it necessary to change which side of the paper a particular paragraph is flushed against. This happens most times with the title, since centering the title of a report is standard. For that reason, word processing programs provide alignment buttons to set paragraphs, usually right on the toolbars. There are four types of alignment, as demonstrated below:

The four buttons for alignment are:

Left align, center align, right align, and justify
