This directory contains files that comprise the documentation entitled
"Guidelines for Preparing Electronic Manuscripts".
 
At present, this area contains documentation for AMS-TeX.  Documentation for
AMS-LaTeX will be added shortly.

AMS-TeX Version 2.0
 
This documentation consists of five files, which were used in the following
order to prepare the printed documentation:
 
        amst-gid.tex    the Guidelines
        amst-art.tex    a sample article
        amst-mtc.tex    table of contents for sample monograph
        amst-mon.tex    a sample monograph
        amst-mbi.tex    bibliography for sample monograph
 
In the printed documentation, the TeXed output of the sample files is followed
by a listing of the input; the three files representing a monograph are grouped
for this purpose.
 
TeXing these files requires AMS-TeX Version 2.0 as well as some additional
files that are part of that distribution:
 
        amsppt.sty (version 2.0)
        amssym.tex (loaded by amsppt.sty)
