A server connection is the link between the Oracle Calendar server and your Oracle Calendar desktop client. If for some reason, you are disconnected from the Oracle Calendar server, you will be prompted to switch to your offline Agenda. When the Oracle Calendar server connection is restored, you will be prompted to switch back to your online Agenda.

Note: With the default setting, you are prompted to switch to your offline Agenda if you are disconnected from the Oracle Calendar server. Then you are prompted to switch to your online Agenda when you are reconnected to the Oracle Calendar server. However, if you prefer to switch to your offline and online Agenda automatically, without receiving a prompt, you can change the setting. Select Options from the Tools menu. Expand Offline and clear the Prompt before switching offline or online if network connection is lost or restored check box.
