Setting Up the Unix Native Clients
|
| |
- Start Oracle Calendar.
- The Connect to box will contain Off-line; it should contain UICalendar;
we need to add it.
- Click the Other button, then click New....
- Type UICalendar in the Connection name box, and uicalendar.uic.edu in Server box
and click Lookup. (Note: This figure is from the Windows client, but
the Linux client's connection box is similar.)

- The UICalendar info will be filled in. Click OK.
- Then make UICalendar your default: select UICalendar from the connection
list, click Make Default, then click OK.
- Then when you get back UICalendar will be displayed in the Connect
to box.

Using the Oracle Calendar Unix Native Clients
|
| |
The Unix native clients look and act pretty much like the Windows and Mac
native clients. See the UICal Client Web pages above for instructions on how
to use them. |
