Multi-Line Telephone Descriptions | ||

The following is a list of features and options for multi-line telephones. Some features require designated buttons on the phone. Others require feature codes for activation. In order to assure that you receive all of the options you require, be sure to fill out a multi-line survey sheet listing such options.

Multi-Line Set - Any telephone set with buttons which can answer or originate calls on one or more lines. Call Forward on Campus - allows you to select another campus number to which all calls will be forwarded until forwarding is canceled from your phone. This is activated manually or from a preassigned key on set. Call Park - Allows you to ?park? (or hold) a call against your directory number and then retrieve the call at another telephone which does not have your line appearances. Call Transfer - Allows you to transfer an established call (one you have made or an incoming call to another administrative line on campus). Last number Redial - allows you to recall the last number dialed by simply depressing the #button on your key pad twice. Three-Way Transfer - Ability to add a third party ) on or off campus) to an existing call |

Automatic Dial - A directory number that is automatically connected to a predetermined location. The calling station does not receive dial tone. Call Forwarding Off - Campus--allows you to select an off campus number to which all calls will be forwarded until forwarding is canceled from your phone. (Note: all toll charges will be against campus number). Call Forwarding on Busy - Provide telephone number--all calls dialed to a busy number are automatically routed to another preselected campus number. Call Forwarding on No Answer - Provide telephone number-- Automatically routes incoming calls to another preselected campus number when the call is not answered after a designated number of rings. Call Hold - Allows you to place a call on hold for any length of time. This can be done on a single line phone with no designated ?hold? button. At the time a call is placed on hold a second dial tone is provided to originate an outgoing call or activate another feature. Call Pickup - Ability to answer another ringing telephone in a predefined pick-up group from your phone. (Provide all telephone numbers for new pickup group or one member telephone number, if adding to an existing group). Group Intercom - allows you to communicate with other members of an established group by using an assigned two-digit code. Individual Speed Call List - A private 10-number speed call list which is programmed and accessible from only one station. Speed Call Group - Allows you to place calls to a previously designated list of frequently dialed numbers by dialing a speed calling code consisting of two digits. This feature will allow you to call any of 30 campus, local or long distance numbers on a departmental list. Numbers are programmed for the group by a designated ?control? station. Make Set Busy - Allows you to temporarily exclude a station from receiving incoming calls. Outgoing calls can still be made. Message Waiting Multi-Line Set - Alerts that a message has been left in your voice mail box (LCD lamp lit) when you are already on the phone. Ring
Again - This feature automatically monitors the
status of a busy on campus number and notifies you when
it becomes available via a pre-assigned key. |
