University/Campus Operators

The University Operators provide telephone numbers for campus departments, the University Hospital, faculty members, staff, and other campus services.

The operators process incoming calls from customers dialing the main University telephone number:

(312) 996-7000.

The University Operators can also be reached by dialing "0" from any campus telephone. The page operator can be reached by dialing 996-2133 or 996-6780. All codes should be dialed in on 996-6788 or by dialing 171.

Campus operators also arrange and schedule telephone conferencing services for departments as well as TDD services.

University Operators are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays.
