New Telecom Web Billing Information

 

We are pleased to announce ACCC-Telecom’s on-line billing portal to view your telecommunications account statements utilizing our new Pinnacle management system.  It was important during our upgrade to insure that all Telecom costs were correctly posted to your account in BANNER and we have worked diligently with the vendor to meet that goal. 

We suggest that you please read and print these instructions before selecting the various tabs.

 
   
 
     
To Access Your Monthly Statement:
 
  1. You must be on the UIC campus or connecting with the UIC VPN client to access your UIC phone bills.

  2. Use the Internet Explorer Web browser to go to:  http://telecom.accc.uic.edu
    This new Web page can also be accessed by going to the ACCC Web page, http://www.accc.uic.edu/index.html/TELECOM.html and scrolling down to Financial Services and selecting Phone Bills - New System effective 10/15/2005.

  3. When the new web page appears, select Customer Portal 
    Note: The Department and Technician portals are restricted to administrative staff only.

  4. Enter your standard UIC netid and ACCC Common Password into the Username and Password boxes respectively.

  5. The WELCOME screen will appear with selectable tabs for viewing a variety of information for your account.
 
     
To Review Your Telecom Billing and Services
 

Click the my bills tab (upper right) to view your current and past billing statements.

  • The Curr. Balance screen appears and displays the following details of the current billing period:
    • All Rated Calls
    • Monthly Recurring Charges
    • Other Charges and Credits
  • You can click on any one of these items to see the details.
  • Click the View bill tab (upper right) to display your previous monthly bills.
    • Note that the Output Method defaults to HTML but you can also select Excel (which can be downloaded to your computer) or a PDF output.
    • Click on a blue Billing Date to access that month’s billing details.

Other tabs in your Customer/Subscriber Account:

  • My Account contains your personal information (i.e. name, email address). 
    • To change or correct the information displayed, email lori@uic.edu or call (312)996-6706 (just 6-6706 on campus).
  • Tools contains:
    • A Directory of campus users
    • Price A Call to determine in advance the cost of a call (just enter the Call Date, From and To Numbers, and the Duration.)
  • Home returns you to the Customer Portal main page.
  • Help displays instructions and topics for the billing portal.
  • Logout logs you out
