Telecom FAQ's

Q: Where do I go to get a problem fixed, like faulty phone line or move a phone line to a different room?
A:
Go to our AS Site where you can also change phone details and add internet connections.

Q: How many phones lines can I install on one jack?
A:
You can install four phones on the voice port of a jack. Ex: two phones, fax, and a credit card machine.

Q: Can I install two computers on a jack?
A:
Yes, but you will have to have the jack expanded from the standard A/B jack to an A/BB jack to install two computers, unless both sides of the jack is labeled data 1 & data 2.

Q: When will my order be worked?
A:
In order to process your order in a timely manner, we ask that we have your order 7 to 10 business days before your preferred work date.

Q: Can I have two multi-line phones with the same primary (bottom) number?
A:
No, all multi-line sets' primary numbers must be different. The primary number is what controls the features on each set.

Q: Can I install two single line phones with the same number?
A: Yes, but all the phones must be installed in the same room for E911 purposes so if a call is made from that number, the emergency team knows where to go.
