Authorization Cards

Due to recommendations by the UIC auditors, ACCC - Telecom no longer offers Authorization Cards from AT&T. We now run a separate system to handle authorization codes so that calls can be placed anywhere from phones that may have campus only calling restrictions.

Our new method for dialing off campus from restricted phones uses an account called a Resphone account. This account will become associated with your UIC netid and come in the form of a 10-digit code.

In order to place calls, simply dial 355-0056 - when prompted enter in the 10 digit code that you set up on-line. Once successfully authenticated, you will be prompted to dial in the number you wish to call followed by the pound sign. To request an account click here.
