Apr 27 2003 - The Notes server will be unavailable on Sunday, April 27, from 9 AM to 5 PM. This will affect, among other things, the availability of AHEAD.

Apr 11 2003 - FYI: One of UIC ISP's is experienced "extreme" network latency - 15:20 - that did not just affect UIC network traffic. They have opened an high priority trouble ticket with their service technicians. Updates will be passed on to their ISP clients as the new information regarding the cause problem becomes available. UIC network traffic at this time - 15:50 - is again being serviced by both of its ISP's to balance its traffic load. ACCC NOC

Apr 11 2003 - The Notes server will be unavailable from 9 PM on Saturday, April 12, to 2 AM on Sunday, April 13, for machine maintenance.

Apr 06 2003 - The router came back up at 3:30pm, eastside campus connections should be working now. We received an unknown error on the router and it is being reported to CISCO. Darlene Senior Operator NOC - ACCC

Apr 06 2003 - One of our routers is down causing problems for the east campus. All public labs are down as they use the east side servers. Clients on the west campus or those dialup up through our dialup lines can get to their mail and our machines, but cannot get outside of the university. Our network people are working on the problem, we will update you as soon as we have more info. The problem started around 2pm. Darlene Senior Operator NOC - ACCC
