Apr 17 2004 - Tigger will be down for hardware maintenenace Saturday Morning April 17, from 10:00AM until 11:30AM to take care of some deferred hardware repairs.

While tigger is down, incoming email will be held and will be delivered when the system is back up. If you still have a tigger-only password, you will be unable to use it for Bluestem authentication, such as to use the dialup lines. You can avoid this problem by setting a new Common Password now at http://passwords.accc.uic.edu. Personal Web pages hosted on tigger of the form http://www.uic.edu/~netid will be unavailable. Departmental Web pages of the form http://anything.department.uic.edu will remain available, except those that use many cgi scripts, such as formmail, pbupdate, and others, which will be unavailable.

Apr 16 2004 - We had a problem with the file server that holds the calendar database just before noon. The file server was restarted and is working again. However, we will be bringing UICalend ar down at 10pm in order to run a database consitency check.
