Dec 30 2004 - Components of the MAILSERV system will be down for maintenance between 9pm and 3am tonight (12/30-12/31). The entire system will not be down at any point, so you may be able to access mail at some moments and not others. |

Dec 27 2004 - We are experiencing hardware problems with one of the back-end units that comprise the mailserv.uic.edu server. About 1 in 6 mailserv clients may not be able to access their inboxes. We are working to fix the problem... |

Dec 27 2004 - The problem with mailserv has been fixed. In theory, no mail was lost, but there may be some delay with incoming mail. If you encounter serious problems with you mailserv inbox, please notify the NOC at 312-413-0003 ext 2. |
