ACCC hardware upgrade - mail/web impacted

Jul 23 2006 - ACCC's central file server named "netapp1" will be upgraded this Saturday night, July 22, starting at 9:00 PM.

Netapp1 plays an important role in many of the email and web services offered by the ACCC. Due to increasing demands on the hardware, systems must upgrade it.

We anticipate that only web and email will be impacted by the upgrade process.

Regarding mail, there may be brief outages but we don't anticipate any major problems. As to web, it will be accessible but read-only.
