| LISTSERV severely backlogged | ||

Mar 26 2007 - We found this morning that our LISTSERV server had not been processing properly since about 12:01am Sunday. This has resulted in a large backlog of "jobs" waiting to be processed. It may take much of the day today to clear the backlog, so any listserv mail you are expecting will likely be delivered quite late. We found that our monitoring software (that would have alerted us to this problem early Sunday) was not properly installed the last time our LISTSERV server was rebuilt. We have reinstalled that software and are taking steps to insure that it installs properly on future rebuilds of listserv. |

Mar 20 2007 - Access to the network outside of UIC went down at approximately 12:30pm. We are working on the problem, but do not have an estimate as to when it will be corrected. ACCC - NOC |

Mar 20 2007 - We were under a DOS attack and the IP being attacked has been null routed at our border and at our ISP. Internet connectivity outside of UIC should be working now. ACCC - NOC |
