Introduction

Faculty Biodata builder helps faculty and staff members create and maintain their biographical data in real-time.

All the faculty or staff member does is fill in the fields in the form with the required information and click Submit & View to view the biodata in their department's website. A faculty member can edit and change their biodata as often as they likes but only the most recent version will be retained.

Faculty Biodata Builder gives you complete control as regards to look and feel of the biodata for the entire department. Webmaster creates four configuration files which help the way information in the biodata is rendered. Following are the four configuration files and a brief description of what they do:

resume_template :
Contains names of all the fields like Name, Work Experience, Education etc. that need to be filled in by the faculty or staff member.

stylesheet.css :
Contains various styles for each field of resume_template. These styles help render the biodata web page.

header :
Contains the header file that gets diplayed at the top of the biodata webpage.

footer :
Contains footer file that gets displayed at the bottom of the biodata webpage.

In addition to these four configuration files, the webmaster creats a .shtml file for each faculty or staff member.
