Departmental Web Directory Request Form

Use this form to request disk space for a departmental Web page. The disk space allocated will be accessible from personal tigger accounts, but will not count against anyones personal home directory disk quota. Furthermore, several accounts can have write access to the Web directory, so that several people can collaborate.

Note: You don't need a departmental account for Web publishing. You should use this form to request a departmental directory, which will be accessible from your personal account. The person's whose netid is given in question 2 below will receive a reply by email which will say where the departmental Web directory is and will explain how to use it, including what its URL will be. (If you forget, see: Question 3.2 What's the real UNIX directory of my departmental Web page? in the Web Publishing FAQ.)

If you don't have a tigger account, you can create one now or if that fails, bring your i-card to the consultants.

1. Name of Department, Lab, Group or Campus Unit:
2. Netid of directory owner; normally the faculty or staff who will direct the project or assume long-term responsibility for the Web page. Must have an existing tigger account, but does not have to be the principal hands-on HTML expert.
(Note: a CMS-style U-number is not a netid.)
3. Netids of other existing tigger accounts that should be granted write access to the department Web files:

4. Any comments or special concerns?
