Getting the most out of Eudora 6

Seminar outline:

1. Mailboxes

• folders of mail boxes
• moving/copying mail via drag&drop
• IMAP mailboxes
• multiple user setup
• archiving & moving your mail
• finding mail in multiple mailboxes, with multiple search terms

2. Personalities

• for multiple mail servers
• for multiple locations (home/office)
• for roles (mail sending personalities)
• create default signatures

3. Address books & Directory

• nndbase.txt & additional books
• importing/exporting address books
• network address books
• personal mailing lists
• configuring the UIC nameserver (phonebook)

4. Filters

• mail organizing filters (local/IMAP)
• junk mail filters (also Eudora 6 junk handling as separate topic)
• outgoing filters
• manual filters
• automated response vs. vacation mail

5. Junk mail (Eudora 6 only)

• need to play with this first!!!
