In the Windows Program Manager,
- Single-click "File" in the menu bar.
- Select "RUN"
Put in the first disk in the drive you will use for installation:
The A: drive is used in this example. If you purchased the
Network Services Kit from the CSO, this disk is named: "Network
Services Kit, PC/TCP, Disk 1 (Disk 1 of 4)". In the "RUN" box enter:
When prompted for the drive from which you are installing PC/TCP,
press enter.
Before continuing with the installation, please note that if
you elect to install PC/TCP in a non-default directory in the next
step, you will have to edit the PIF file to indicate the change.
When prompted for the drive and directory for installation, press
ENTER to accept the supplied default or enter a different
drive and directory if desired.
When prompted with the message, "If you have Windows already
installed and would like PC/TCP support installed for Windows, enter
y for yes.
When prompted for the drive and directory where you installed
Windows:
- Press ENTER to accept the supplied default or enter a
different drive and directory if necessary.
When the program files on the first PC/TCP disk have been copied
to the drive and directory you designated for installation, remove
the first PC/TCP disk, and place the second PC/TCP disk in the drive
you are using for installation. If you purchased the Network Services
Kit from the CSO, the second PC/TCP disk is named: "Network Services
Kit, PC/TCP, Disk 2 (Disk 2 of 4)". Continue to enter the disks as
the programs prompts you.
