libraries. And simultaneous access, security, and
debugging require a bit more attention.
This course will not make you expert even in the things
it covers. But it should make references and CGI programming
a bit more understandable. You'll be able to play with
it or follow the manual a bit more easily.

You need some familiarity with perl. You should have written at
least several small perl programs, and know how to use arrays,
hashes, and regular expressions, and know about file I/O.
Being a little adventurous will help.
