Where is my Time Going? Time Survey To improve your time management, you first need a clearer picture of how you use your time. The survey below will help you estimate how much time you spend on typical activities. Please estimate the amount of time spent on each item. Once you have this amount, multiply it by seven.
TOTAL _______ Subtract the above number from 168: 168 - ______ = _______ (potential study hours) BE HONEST!!!! **The very rough rule of thumb is that you should study twice as many hours as the number of credit hours you are taking. If the survey indicates that you don’t have as many potential hours as you need for studying, you will probably want to cut back on some of the activities listed above. * The above is adapted from a survey on the George Mason University website. |
