Date Field

Generally, the date that the order is being entered is the current date.  We can set the Default Value in the properties so that the current date is already entered in the field.  The =DATE() function will accomplish this.

Note that the button to the right of the Default Value property will open up the Expression Builder, which can assist you when creating formulas and functions.
