There are only three methods of payment at the club: cash, check, and club account. Each is assigned a number from 1 to 3. For this field, we do not want any other number entered. In the Validation Rule property, we can enter a range of numbers that limits what can be entered. If a person enters a number outside the range, an error message pops up. The Validation Text property allows you to create that error message.
You can also add text to the Description section at the top of the Design View. Whatever text appears in the description will appear in the status bar of the table when the insertion point is in that field.
