The PDFwriter works simply like a printer to which you send files to be printed. Choose it from the drop-down list of installed printers in any Windows print dialogue (or in the Mac Chooser):

Select Properties for PDFwriter options. You can choose which fonts to embed, what image compression to use, and what target resolution and page size to use.
Once you click on print, you are prompted for a file name: Simply select the target directory and type in the file name and click OK. You also have the option of viewing the PDF file after is generated by checking the "View PDF File" box.

You can add or edit Document Info here by clicking on the corresponding button. Fill in the infomation, click Save and you have a PDF file.
