Check Dial-up Networking
- When you are back in Windows 95 after restarting, click on Start,
then on Programs, then on Accessories, and then on Dial-up
Networking.

- If Dial-up Networking is NOT in the Accessories list, you will have to install
it before proceeding. To do so, follow these 7 steps. Otherwise, skip them.
- Click on the Start button, then on Settings, and then
on Control Panel.

- Click on Add/Remove Programs, then click on the Windows Setup
tab (the middle of the three tabs towards the top of the screen).

- Make sure that the box in front of Communications is checked. If it
is not, click on the box to make the check mark appear.

- Then click on OK and the communications software will be installed.
You will have to insert your Windows 95 CD or floppy disks.
- If the box WAS already checked, single click on Communications to select
it and then click on the Details button. Make sure there is a check
in front of Dial-up Networking. Then choose OK on the Communications
window, and then OK on the Add/Remove Programs window.

- If both of those were checked, but Dial-up Networking still does not
appear under Accessories, you should call Microsoft Support for assistance.
- Now click on Start, then on Programs, then on Accessories,
and then on Dial-up Networking.
