Starting the PPP Setup

To begin, single click on the Start button in the lower left corner.

• Go to Settings.
• Single click on Control Panel.

  

  You should see a window similar to this one:
  

• Double click on Network.

In the list of Installed Network Components, make sure both "Dial-up Adapter" and "TCP/IP" are listed, but make sure that they are listed ONLY ONCE. If there is more than one listing for either of these, be sure to remove one of them by clicking on the item and then clicking on the Remove button.
