Image Basics

Quickly insert an image using the Object Pallette.
  1. Place the cursor where you want the image then click the image icon on the Object Pallette. (Or just drag and drop the image to any valid cursor position in the document.)
  2. Browse to the image file or simply type the path to the image.
  3. Change any attibutes for the image in the Property Inspector.

 

Edit an image already in the document by modifying the attributes in the Property Inspector.

  • Images can have text aligned alongside them by setting the Align attribute in the Property Inspector.
  • Images can be stretched or shrunk by modifying the width and height attributes. (Note: the file size does not change, only the dimensions in the browser window.)
  • Images can even be links by putting an address in the Link field.
  • The values in the Property Inspector above created the image to the left.
