Fields, Headers, and Footers

When working in documents, certain pieces of information are dependent on constant updates, such as the current date, the location of the document, and other items. Word gives you the ability to insert fields into a document containing information needed for the document. These fields are most prevalent in the header and footer of a page, an area printed in the margin of each page in a document. We will cover these two items in this section.
