Style Organizer

If you know of another file that contains a style you need, you can copy it from the other file. The Style Organizer allows you to transfer styles from one document to another, even the default template. By clicking on the Organizer... button under the Format|Style... menu, you can get a list of your current styles.

If you need to open a different file, click on the Close File button below the file you wish to get rid of. The button will then change to an Open File button, at which time you can choose the correct file. To transfer a style, click on the style and then click the Copy button between the two style lists. (It doesn't matter which file is where; the Copy button works both ways.) Here is what happens when we copy the Paragraph Heading style over to the global template
