Tabs

When you have columns of information, it is often essential to keep them organized by using tabs. As a default, Word will have tabs set every 1/2 inch on the document. You can, however, set new tabs yourself for either the entire document or for highlighted paragraphs. In this section, we will discuss the following topics.
