Editing and Formatting Text

If you are familiar with word processing, editing text inside of Netscape Composer will be simple. You can select pieces of text and make any changes to them you wish, including deleting them.

Note that the above sentence has the misspelled word "peice" selected. Double-clicking on a word will select it. You can then simply type in the correct word. (Of course, Netscape Composer offers a spell check, so you can use that as well.)
Like a word processor, you can also cut , copy , and paste  items.  You can even "drag-and-drop" items.  When an item is selected, moving the mouse over it turns the mouse pointer into a hand.  You then click and drag the item where you want it to go.

Formatting text also works similar to a word processor.  However, one key difference is in the use of fonts and font sizes.  Although it is possible to choose the type of font and its specific size, it is possible the person reading the web page may not see the same sizes or fonts.  Care should be taken when choosing fonts and sizes.

You can also make headings in your document.  There are six levels of headings available, all under the Format|Heading menu or the text format button at the far left side of the Formatting toolbar.

There are also buttons on the Formatting Toolbar to change the text color , bold , italic , underline , or even remove all formats .

In Netscape Composer, you can also create bulleted  or numbered   lists.
