Reading Email with Pine: Tips
Here are some handy Do's and Don't's to keep in mind while composing email.
Do use a meaningful subject line.
Don't send unsolicited email. Don't ever send unsolicited commercial email.
Do keep the message short and to the point.
Don't use all CAPS. It is considered the equivalent of shouting or a really bad mood.
Do follow the KISS method (Keep It Simple, Stupid)
Don't use a long signature file. Keep it under 5 lines.
Do use smileys (or emoticons) to convey emotion or tone of the message. E.g.. :-) or :-( Tilt your head to the left to see what these mean.
