Bulleted Lists

When you create a bulleted list, the computer formats the fonts, styles, and the type of bullet for each point in the style of the background template. However, you have the ability to change the type of bullet used, or even turn them off. Look at the following example:

To change the bullets, you must first select the list. By clicking inside the list, then hitting the [ESC] key on the keyboard, you can select the list. Then, go to the Format|Bullet menu. Every font has a series of characters, any of which can be used as a bullet.

In this example, we'll use the large, right-pointing arrow in the bottom row, 5th from the left. Here is the result.

If you wish to turn the bullets off, click the Bullets button on the Formatting toolbar while the list is selected.
