The Drawing Toolbar

At the bottom of the screen is the Drawing toolbar. It gives you the ability to add graphics of your own creation.

This toolbar will allow you to draw images by hand, such as lines, arrows, squares, and circles. It will also allow you to change the fill color, border color, and allow for shadows in images.

The Draw button at the left side allows you to make changes to images, such as grouping several images as one, rotating, cropping, and place the order of several images. Many of these are covered in the Intermediate PowerPoint 97 pages.

However, there are certain buttons on the toolbar that make graphics easier to make. The AutoShapes button is an excellent example.
