When organizing ideas and information for your presentation, many people use an outline to keep their information in a clear, logical manner. PowerPoint uses this same strategy to organize slides. Many people use the Outline View in PowerPoint when they have vast amounts of text to enter. The advantage of Outline View is that you can get a good look at the flow of your entire presentation, something not afforded in Slide View.
