PowerPoint always had the ability to create tables in slides, including an table AutoLayout. These capabilities have been improved in PowerPoint 2000.
| Clicking on the Insert Table button (or using the table AutoLayout) allows you create a table with however many columns or rows you need. However, you can also draw the table as if using a pencil to do it. |

| Under the Tables and Borders button is a toolbar that will let you draw the table by clicking and dragging rows and columns. |
