Tables

PowerPoint always had the ability to create tables in slides, including an table AutoLayout. These capabilities have been improved in PowerPoint 2000.

Clicking on the Insert Table button (or using the table AutoLayout) allows you create a table with however many columns or rows you need. However, you can also draw the table as if using a pencil to do it.
Under the Tables and Borders button is a toolbar that will let you draw the table by clicking and dragging rows and columns.
The Tables and Borders Toolbar will allow you to add and remove lines from the table. You can draw rows, columns, and even diagonal lines in the cells.
