Touring the UIC home page

The UIC Home Page has been revamped for the '99-2000 school year.

It is divided into a number of sections, each of which dealing with a specific part of the university.

The new UIC home page is divided into several sections. The following sections are of particular interest to students.

  • The Prospective Students section provides information for those considering UIC as their choice to further their education. Included in this section is information on campus departments, visiting the campus, student organizations, campus housing and parking, and admissions information.

  • The Current Students section allows current students access to online course information, student publications, student services, and computing on the UIC campus.

  • The About UIC section deals with general information on UIC, including makeup of campus, information on the campus, and access to the Adminstration site.

  • The Calendar and Events section lists several different available calendars, including academic, administrative, athletic, and general announcements.

  • The UIC & the Community section lists links to sites both inside and outside the UIC Community. UIC links include the Pavilion, Great Cities, and Project Millennium. Other sites listed include the city of Chicago's home page. links to the Urbana-Champaign and Springfield campuses, and the Web site for the state of Illinois.

  • The Resources, etc. section provides links to information on Research and Grants, Video Communications, traffic and weather, and business information
  •
