Background

The background section allows you to make changes to the Patterns and the Wallpaper. Patterns are a design on the Desktop based on the current colors. In order to see the patterns, the Wallpaper should be set to (none). In the dialog box, there will be a preview of how the Desktop will look. Here are some sample patterns

Wallpaper is a picture of an item. The wallpaper can be a single item in the center of your screen, or it can be tiled to fill the entire screen. Although there is a list of wallpaper pictures in Windows 95, any picture can be converted to wallpaper. In fact, most Web browsers will let you right-click a picture you download and automatically make it your computer's Wallpaper.

  This could be your wallpaper!
