When you go to the Start button and choose Help, or if you hit [F1] on your
keyboard, the computer gives you three sections of help. The first one, represented
by tabs at the top of the dialog box, is the Contents section. This gives a
list of main topics, or books like this. 
To open a main topic, double-click on it. This will then display the sub-topics
underneath it, also represented by purple books. A help document will have this
icon next to it. 
By double-clicking on
one of these documents, you can read the available help on that item.
