Screen Saver

To prevent the same image from being burned into your monitor, screen savers are essential to refresh the screen when it is idle for long periods of time. You can set the screen saver to start after any number of minutes of inactivity. To bring back your regular screen, you simply move the mouse or hit a key on the keyboard. The types of available screen savers vary from computer to computer, and you can install your own screen savers from software or the Internet. Most computers have these screen savers:

You can set any screen saver with a password to allow you security when you walk away from your desk. The screen saver, once activated, will not turn off unless the proper password is typed in.
