Editing Text

When you are working in your document, you may need to make changes to some of your text. You can place your insertion point in the document where the change should take place. Using [DELETE] will delete one character to the right of the insertion point, while using [BACKSPACE] will delete one character to the left of the insertion point. If you highlight text, ANYTHING you type will replace the selected piece of text, even a spacebar. If you wish to get rid of a piece of selected text without replacing it, you can use the [DELETE] key to do so. Click here to see a video demo of the ways you can edit text. (127K)
