Although correcting spelling errors is usually not considered the biggest feature of a word processor, you may get an argument from many people. WordPerfect 8 has the ability to check a word that you have typed to see if it is spelled correctly. However, the word processor of today goes far beyond that. WordPerfect 8 can flag words it does not recognize as you are typing, and in some cases, even correct the word BEFORE you even know you misspelled it.
