Where to go from here?
- Get on the Web
Install a nice Web Browser, like Netscape, on your PC and go
explore. CMS users can get a good taste of it via Charlotte;
just type WWW at the CMS prompt.
- Take a look at the WWW Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document
at
http://www.boutell.com/faq
- Get help at UIC
There is a good number of seasoned WWW users on campus. Talk to
them about using the Web. Chances are, they've heard of or know
of a Web site or WWW application that may be of interest to you.
Get in the habit of running periodic Web searches looking for
hypermedia that you may want to put to use in your classes.
- Get Help from the Computer Center
Keep in mind the Center's Client Services Office (CSO) at 2267 SEL.
CSO consultants will most likely be able to answer you inquiries,
and if not, they will find some one at Center who can help you or
meet with you. You can reach the CSO consultants via email at
consult@uic.edu, via telephone at 413-0003, or
you can just drop by 2267 SEL, 9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday.
