Seminar 903: Creating Images for the Web

One of the greatest benefits of authoring on the web is the ability to add colorful images to your web page. Without images to break the monotony of straight text the World Wide Web would be nothing more than gray lines in cyberspace. Fortunately, authors of web sites can use graphics to "colorize" their information, Illustrating their ideas without a single paragraph of text.

With the equipment and software that is available today, you can document facts and ideas with pictures, making it possible to recreate your discoveries in compelling ways. Whether you are scanning photographs or drawing in a paint program, graphics can enhance your ability to describe and communicate. Even if you just want to add some flavor and individuality to your web site, you are only limited by what your mind can concieve of.
