Asst. Conductor/Accompanist-The UIC Choirs  Ivana Bukvich received the Bachelors Degree at Belgrade University of Arts, and holds a Master's Degree from Indiana University where she studied with Professor A. Toradze. Her performances include Edinburgh (Scotland) Music Festival, “White nights” Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia, the Rotterdam Phillips Gergev Music Festival, Mikkeui Music Festival (Finland, and Milan, Italy), Piano Artist Series, and Chicago's Ravinia Rising Stars Concert Series. Ms. Bukvich has also made numerous television and radio appearances in Yugoslavia, and most recently on WFMT-Chicago. Currently, she is the Head of the Piano Department at the Sherwood Conservatory of Music in Chicago, and an active accompanist and chamber musician in the Chicago area. |
