Jason K. Martin is an actor, teacher, and certified associate of Fitzmaurice Voicework. He received his MFA in Acting from California State University in Long Beach and his B.A. in English from Duke University. In addition to his responsibilities at UIC, he currently teaches dialects and Shakespeare at Roosevelt University and he was a lecturer in Performance Studies at Northwestern for three years. He has coached text and dialects for various theatres in the Chicago area. In February of 2009 his work with Piccolo Theatre’s “Twelfth Night” was heard. He was last seen on stage in The Building Stage’s hit, Moby-Dick.
