Polish dramatic theory and close reading of representative scripts

physicalization of performance. Focus on the body in space as both

3 hours. Survey of traditional
theatre forms in China, Japan, and Korea, their cultural contexts, and
influence on today's theatre. Students may also choose to research

visual perception: space, mass, balance, line, texture, shape, color,
