New BS/MS Degree Program

The UIC Bioengineering Department is pleased to announce a new initiative for the combined BS/MS degrees program. This accelerated program is intended for highly qualified UIC Bioengineering undergraduates. Please note that there will be NO separate requirements or standards from the regular Bioengineering MS degree. The Department will carefully select those who have demonstrated (a) academic excellence and (b) research capability.

Qualified junior and senior students are invited to submit the following documents to the Director of Graduate Studies:

Upon departmental approval, the student will be instructed to apply to the UIC Graduate College for admission to the Bioengineering MS program. Because the deadline for the Fall 2009, TBA, we strongly encourage the interested students to submit the documents to the Department by TBA.
