Graduate Program Transfer Procesures
Transfer within the Graduate College

Students who wish to transfer from their current program to Bioengineering MS or PhD program, must submit the following documents to the BioE Program Coordinator, eight weeks prior to the start of semester that the student is applying for:

  •  
  • Personal Statement
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation
  • Letter of financial support from a research advisor
  • GRE scores (within 5 years)
  •  

Student must initiate the transfer request from his current department by filling out a change of graduate program form and seeking the department's approval.

Transfer from MS Bioengineering to PhD Bioengineering program

Students who wish to transfer from Bioengineering MS to PhD program, must submit the following documents to the BioE Program Coordinator:

  •  
  • Personal Statement
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation
  • Letter of financial support from a research advisor
  •  
Admission from Non-degree to the BioE Graduate Program

Non-degree students wishing to be admitted to the Bioengineering graduate program has to follow the regular graduate application procedures and must follow BioE Graduate and Graduate College deadlines. Applications will be evaluated as regular applications.
