Student Coordinators

Student coordinators apply and are appointed to their position by the faculty advisors (their term spans the entire academic year). In addition to having been BCQ students themselves, they have served at least two semesters as student leaders before being coordinators. The two coordinators (one for Wednesday and one for Thursday) are in charge of managing their student leaders and students, setting up and running large group classes and overseeing the entire operation of the Colloquium (e.g. class policies, meetings, etc.).

This will be my last year at UIC. I love getting to know new people and BCQ has proved to be a great way to meet people at UIC. I'm a huge tv bum, but if the weather is nice enough and I'm not stuck studying, I love exploring the city or, better yet, traveling somewhere and exploring there. The best part of BCQ is getting advice on what classes to take, what professors to avoid, and which TA is the nicest. So definitely ask questions and talk, not many classes let you do that.

Thursday Student Coordinator
This will be my last year at UIC and I am obviously completing my Biology degree! I have been involved with BCQ for the last year and a half and it has been my favorite thing about UIC! It is a great way to network with fellow students, professors, and get involved with research! When I'm not at school I am usually out with friends or sitting in front of my TV being addicted to Wii! I also love all thing Hello Kitty :)!
